Fence Installer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks and a strong understanding of fence installation processes. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. As a Fence Installer, you will be responsible for ensuring that fences are installed accurately and efficiently, meeting both safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of fences including wood, vinyl, chain link, and metal.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and specifications for each project.
• Measure and mark locations for fence posts, ensuring proper alignment and spacing.
• Dig holes for fence posts using hand tools or power equipment.
• Weld or assemble metal components as needed for specific fence designs.
• Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and secure.
• Perform caulking and sealing as necessary to enhance durability.
• Restore job sites to their original condition after installation is complete.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction or related fields; skills in carpentry are a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with tools used in fence installation including drills, saws, and welding equipment.
• Strong physical stamina; ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of drywall installation or tile laying is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills within the trade.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
