Landscaper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves maintaining, building, and irrigating landscapes to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. The Landscape Technician will work with both hand tools and power tools, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding to keep properties looking pristine.
• Build and install various landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
• Irrigate gardens and lawns effectively, ensuring proper water distribution for optimal plant health.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.
• Use power tools and hand tools for various landscaping tasks including digging, planting, and mulching.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Provide recommendations for plant selection and landscape design improvements based on site conditions.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various landscaping equipment safely.
• Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools effectively.
• Ability to dig, plant, and maintain gardens with attention to detail.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is essential.
• A valid driver’s license may be required depending on job duties.

Pay: $21.76-$22.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
